My favorite thing about Cooking with Kids is that you get to work as a team to make a meal for everyone in the class.

In September 2016, Cooking with Kids began programming in Rio Arriba county. Currently, 815 Kindergarten through sixth grade students in 7 schools in Rio Arriba county participate in our unique, hands-on food and nutrition education programs.

We are working hard to expand our reach and create sustainable programming in this community. Our goal is to be in every school in Rio Arriba county!

Cooking with Kids is an awesome program. I have seen a positive impact in my own son at home because of Cooking with Kids. He has become more involved in cooking at home and often asks about new foods he has not had interest in before.
