Congressman Ben Ray Luján visited a Cooking with Kids class at Amy Biehl Community School today, in celebration of CWK’s 20th anniversary! Congressman Luján rolled up his sleeves and worked with 3rd grade students as they prepared (and ate!) CWK’s black bean tostadas and salsa fresca. Special thanks to Ms. Dominguez and her wonderful students and parent volunteers, Principal Marano, and CWK educator Cathy Rey Montoya! “Congressman Ben” supports nutrition programs to combat child hunger in New Mexico, as well as education for youth that focuses on developing good habits at an early age. What a wonderful day for us all!
