8,000 Children TODAY.
How many in the FUTURE?

We have a bold vision: to reach even more children across New Mexico with joyful, hands-on food education that builds confidence and lifelong healthy choices. The need is real — and schools are waiting.

Preparing for Growth.

When our leased space on Maclovia was put up for sale, we chose not to simply relocate, but to move thoughtfully with long-term stewardship, stability, and future growth in mind.

This new space positions Cooking with Kids for what’s ahead: supporting our work more effectively today and giving us room to grow responsibly when the time is right — so more children can experience the joy and impact of Cooking with Kids.

Building Healthy Futures, Together.

This moment is possible because of you and the entire community that has supported CWK for 30 years. We invite you to come alongside us so that, together, we can reach more children where it matters most.

Bright, bold, and full of gratitude — our Community Wall will celebrate the people who built Cooking with Kids and those shaping what comes next.

Give $60 (honoring 30 years and building the next 30) to add your name — or honor someone special — in our new space.

Add a Name to the Community Wall Today!

You’re invited to be part of this next chapter through CWK’s giving and naming opportunities — recognizing someone special while supporting spaces that will serve children and families for years to come.

Contact Carmen Benson or Sarah Wrenn Weaver to discuss your gift and naming opportunity. Call the office at 505-438-0098 or send us a quick email!

The Food Hub

Double the food space and easy delivery access

The 1,200 ft² Food Hub — where food and supplies are received, sorted, and distributed to schools — gives us the open space we’ve long needed, with room to grow and even double our reach when the time is right.

Designed for safe, efficient flow, it allows educators and farmers to move produce and supplies with ease.

Five gifts of $5,000 will establish the Food Hub, with each donor recognized in the new space (Goal: $25,000)

The Learning Kitchen

Space for hands-on staff training & recipe development

Our new Learning Kitchen gives us the dedicated, purpose-built space our growing work requires — a place to gather around the counter and learn together.

Designed for collaboration with our 25+ educators, it allows us to train new team members, ensure program consistency, and develop practical, accessible recipes for classrooms and families.

Four leadership gifts of $10,000+ (cash or in-kind) will bring the kitchen to life, with each donor recognized in this space (Goal: $40,000)

Community Spaces

Flexible areas to meet, plan, and collaborate

Our new space offers areas for private work, small meetings, and larger gatherings.

With room to focus and collaborate comfortably, it helps us strengthen and grow the programs we bring to schools and communities.

Four gifts of $2,500+ will help launch these spaces, with each donor recognized at the conference room entrance (Goal: $10,000)
