- 4 tomatoes, diced
- ¼ onion, diced
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- Place all ingredients except the vegetable oil into blender and blend until smooth. If needed, add up to ¼ cup of water to help blend.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Add salsa mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
