Started in 1995, Cooking with Kids works in school classrooms & cafeterias, providing free-of-cost nutrition education to over 5,000 children in Northern New Mexico.

When kids help prepare healthy foods, they’re more likely to eat and enjoy them!

Fun to say, fun to make, fun to eat! These Ecuadorian potato pancakes are filled with corn, green onions, cheese, and parsley and browned on a lightly oiled griddle.

Fall Harvest Salad

Our students are learning about local foods, including local greens, apples, and zucchini. Tossed with whole wheat croutons and honey mustard dressing, this salad is a celebration of the bounty of Northern New Mexico’s harvest.
